"I didn't have a clue in 1970 the predecessor Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD) of the DEA was discovering Noriega had a potential for more than military prowess. I didn't even know who Noriega was or anything about Panama. I was too wrapped up in my own pain. I had become so lost while trying to prove my worth meant more than pot, LSD, peyote, and mescaline, all the drugs that were the center of of the sixties, all the drugs shared with friends.
