Sadness to report with the deaths of Senator TED KENNEDY who was also known as "The Lion Of The
Senate" he recently died after a long battle with brain cancer at the age
of 77. WILLY DeVILLE the voice and founder of
the 70's Spanish influenced Punk Band MINK
DeVILLE. A tragic drowning accident took the life of PAUL DOMINGUEZ the guitar player for the MYSTIC KNIGHTS OF THE KING COBRA on his 34th
Birthday Bash at the Russian River. The Legendary Guitar
Great LES PAUL also passed away this past month
but his legacy will live forever... And former Mabuhay Gardens owner NESS AQUINO'S ex wife JULIE
AQUINO finally lost her battle with Cancer.... PUNK GLOBE extends condolences to their

........ It seems like only yesterday that SHARLA
CARTNER was flying into SFO and getting ready to spend her holiday
exploring the West Coast of the United States. Well it is now almost 2 1/2
months later and she is back at home in Australia.. During her stay in the
USA she got to see GREEN DAY 3X - once in
Seattle at the start of their tour and then again in August in San Jose
and in San Diego where she had a VIP pass... Thanks to my favorite guy in
GREEN DAY - MIKE
DIRNT'S cousin STEVE... She also got to
see RANCID and RISE
AGAINST in Oakland, WHITE TRASH
DEBUTANTES in Pomona and Hollywood, ALL
in Hollywood, THE ZEROS, THE LEWDand DEAD TO ME at
Gilman Street in Berkeley not mention so many other bands.. She attended
the Tribute to Actor JOE DALLESANDRO at The
Castro Theater thanks to the wonderful KATHY
PECK. There she met KATHY PECK, CRAIG POP ARTIST along with JOE
& KIM DALLESANDRO. ..
She ate one of her best meals ever at San Francisco's own
PUERTO ALEGRE where she met DEBBIE and LORENZO.... She
then drove down I- 5 to Hollywood with TINA
BUTLER where she met all sorts of folks like FAROH, PAULEY PERRETTE,
MICHAEL BOSSMAN, KENNON
RAINES, STACY TUTTLE, PAULI GRAY, ERIC BORTZ,
THE EX GENTLEMEN, PASTOR
DAVE & BECKY STAMBAUGH, TIM TUTTLE, AARON C, AMY TALASKA, RAQUEL, ATRON, MIKE & KARLA MCLEOD, EVACUATE,
THE SWEDISH TRIPLETS, MARCEL, LOUIE from
Ralph's, DINO, FRANCO, JOHN, GEOFFREY, CHELSEA ROSE,
PISS N BLOOD, THE HORROR
SQUAD, 3808, THE
FLAMETHROWERS, JOE BLACK, TYLER and the list goes on... Then on impulse she
drove to Las Vegas where she spent 5 sun soaked days and then she returned
to the mild climate of Berkeley which was her home base for her stay in
the USA.. In August she then went to San Jose and she had to admit that
the Hotel Room she booked there was the best one on her Holiday.. She then
headed south San Diego.. She wishes that she had more time to see San
Diego as it was so fun... She partied hard at the GREEN DAY show and then she headed back to the Bay
Area a few days before she flew back home.. Before leaving she did get to
interview MINUS ONE so please look for that
interview in this issue.. The hardest part of the return trip was the day
she lost because of the time changes... We ALL are gonna miss you SHARLA.. You touched all our hearts... But she
assured us that she WILL be back ... Who would have thought a stupid
reality show would create such a sad drama.. Who would have thought the
VHI Reality Show "MEGAN
NEEDS A MILLIONAIRE" had a killer in it's cast... Canadian
Millionaire RYAN JENKINS had met JASMINE FIORE in a Las Vegas Strip Bar and married
her after knowing her just a couple weeks. However reports say that the
marriage had been annulled but they had recently reconciled.. JENKINS had taken FIORE to
San Diego for a Gambling Tournament. He was caught on video tape entering
the hotel with her. However she was not with him checking out. However he
was carrying the suitcase she had checked in with.... Upon returning to LA
he called the Police and reported her missing but after a body had been
discovered in a dumpster and Police wanted to ask him question he had
vanished.. The body that had been discovered in that dumpster in Buena
Park, CA was JASMINE FIORE sadly the body was
unidentifiable from the beating she took, all of her teeth had been
extracted and her fingers had been chopped off.. However she had Breast
Implants with a serial number that was traced back to JASMINE FIORE.. An all points bulletin was posted for
JENKINS and his vehicle was found in WA where
he then rented a boat to the Canadian border he then walked over the
border into Canada.. Authorities assumed that he had fled to Central or
South America until the Manager of The Thunderbird Motor Inn in Hope,
Canada found his dead body hanging in the closet. He had check into the
seedy drug infested hotel with a mystery Blonde Woman who paid cash for
the room while he stayed in the car.. Ironically she parked the car next
to a dumpster... People at the Thunderbird said he looked nothing like he
did in the photo's on TV.. Dressed in Thrift Store clothing and unkempt..
When he failed to check out after a three day stay that is when his body
was found.. What a tragedy.. One good thing is that the show MEGAN NEEDS A MILLIONAIRE has been axed by VH1... MERI ST MARY is in
Hollywood Livin' Lavida Loca. and staying with her pal ELLEN VINISKY..She is getting together with all sorts
of fun folks like JANET CUNNINGHAM, JOHN POCHNA, BRUCE
KALBERG, TEQUILA MOCKING BIRD, DON BOLLES, MAGGIE, HELLIN KILLER, PAT SMEAR,
KEITH MORRIS, GREG
GARDNER, ANDRE and myself...MERI, BRUCE KALBERG ( a huge KATHY GRIFFIN fan) and I had a great time having
lunch and chatting for 3 hours at THE CASBAH in
Silver Lake...... We had invited JOSIE COTTON
to join us and she
thought he had to go into the studio but found out a bit to
late that she could join us.. It is sooo nice to be in contact with JAMIE DRUMMOND again she is such a delight... A
lovely human being and has the coolest sons ever not to mention was
married to CORKY DRUMMOND from THE SPEED QUEENS... I sure hope RABIND RAWKS is OK as I have not heard from him since
the large Earthquake hit Indonesia...THE LADDS
held their 3rd Annual Reunion BBQ in Downtown Los Angeles and all sorts of
wild mayhem happened with THE STAINS, RF7 and others playing... I am sorry KENNY KIMMEL that I missed the shindig... A special

Card Reader" who spent most of his time in LA in jail- is back in
Vancouver spreading his tall tales about an "imaginary suite" at The
Cobalt Hotel with long luxurious snow white shag carpeting along with a
large screen TV .. He swears that WENDY is
being evicted because she has changed the locks on the suite one to many
times... Speaking of which where is PAT CROWE??
GERRY JENN WILSON sent text and photo's about
the "I Survived Punk Party/ Reunion" and it
sounded like a blast was had by all in Vancouver.. A special shout out to
DAVID STRONGOS who wrote and translated THE IMPATIENT YOUTH article.. He is a great writer
and has a cool blog that you can find a link to in the article.. The
Seattle based band POST HARBOR has inked a deal
with BURNING BUILDING RECORDS... Please welcome

GAYE ANN BRUNO is happier than ever
with her job at CBS contrary to rumors that she
had been laid off.. NOT TRUE!! Plus is also happy with her work with TERRI NUNN and BERLIN. She
set up a European Tour and landed her a Record Deal. ...She did tell me
that she is in a quandary about going back to being the Talent Coordinator
for this years LA Pride because of all the budget cutbacks... JACKIE FOX is suing JOAN
JETT for the copyright of THE RUNAWAYS
name and is trying to halt production on THE
RUNAWAYS Movie based on CHERIE CURRIE'S
book.. ... SMILE EMPTY SOUL have released a
video for their hit "Don't Ever Leave" which features Actor SEAN FARRIS who won an MTV Video Award for his role
in "NEVER BACK DOWN" ....
How many of you have seen "MY
ANTONIO" on VH1? It features Actor/
Model ANTONIO SABATO JR... He is still quite a
looker .. But move over SISTER PATTERSON (NEW
YORK'S Mother) you have a rival with his Mother.. Boy does she look mean
and scary!!! ANTONIO is a hunka burning love
but Mama is quite a different story... She just sits at a Table glaring at
all the girls with an icy cold look... I recently ran into that cute DEREK HOUGH at the same QUIZNO'S I had met him at previously located at
Western and Hollywood.... We talked about the new cast of DANCING WITH THE STARS which includes DONNY OSMOND, KELLY
OSBOURNE, TOM DELAY, MELISSA JAON HART, KATHY
IRELAND, MACY GRAY and others.. I again
told him my ultimate dream would be to have AMY
WINEHOUSE on as a Dancer and as a performer... He laughed hard when
I told him what RICHARD DUGUAY had said that
they would have to change the name of the show to. "Drinking, Drugging and
Dancing With The Stars".... I must say DEREK is
pretty unassuming he was riding a skateboard... And for the record he is
about 5ft 10 not 5Ft 6 as many people report.. He was wearing Tennis
Shoes... I also had the pleasure of meeting Actor TERRENCE KNOX on the Metro Underground.. We began
chatting about idle things and then he told me about where he lived.. I
asked him what he did and he mentioned he was an actor and that he had
starred on "TOUR OF DUTY" and "ST. ELSEWHERE".. He is a really nice down to earth
guy... I told him that I helped JONATHAN GRIES
with his lines when he guest stared on "TOUR OF
DUTY" and had met an Actor named STEPHEN
CAFFEY who had been on ALL MY
CHILDREN... I later found out that KIM
DELANEY was also on the show... She of course was JENNY GARDNER when my pal DOROTHY
LYMAN portrayed her Mama OPAL GARDNER on
ALL MY CHILDREN... Speaking of which on January
4 AMC is moving to LA to film... Which means we
will be seeing SUSAN LUCCI alot more in
Hollywood... MAGGIE from TWISTED ROOTS is back in LA living... But Where is
OSO???? SLICK 46
have added a female bass player named FLEA who
hails from from Melbourne Australia and they have a new EP out.. They also
will be touring The USA in November and December of this year.Do you have
room for SHARLA on the tour??? MORGANA WELCH and UNEVEN STEVEN

PLANT I posted My Space.. He does look great! I sure hope LISA BOOTH gets her writing groove back soon.. We

a wild and outrageous Fashion Show at THE HOLLYWOOD
SOCIAL CLUB and I rode in style to the Red Carpet Event with JOSIE COTTON, GIDDLE
PARTRIDGE, GEXA X, DON BOLLES and his lovely daughter in a Plush Leopard
Limo...Everything was Leopard the full limo, carpets, glasses everything
was Leopard... .. There I spotted TREVOR WAYNE,
LENORA CLAIRE, SELENA
LUNA, RODNEY BINGEMHEIMER, MARGARET CHO, LIZ MCGRATH,
BEN REAGON, ANGIE
BOWIE and the list goes on...Lets hope our own MARC FLOYD did not have a bad Tequila hangover after
his wild Birthday Party in Vancouver... NANCY
JACKSON had a rip roaring good time celebrating her Birthday a bit
late at THE WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES, U.K. SUBS
show in Fairfax..... Having TUC
WATKINS back on ONE TO LIVE has been a
sheer delight.. I am also very happy to see the fabulous Medium DELPHINA back on the set.. They both chew up every
scene they are in.. When the show went back to the 60's a year or so ago
DELPHINA was in Drag portraying a Male Fortune
Teller equally the scene stealer she is as her Female counterpart.......
It is also y a GREAT pleasure to watch characters like DORIAN LORD, BLARE KRAMER,
ROXY BALSAM, SCHUYLER
JOPLIN, GIGI MORASCO, MARKO RIVERA, REX BALSAM,
MATTHEW BUCHANAN and VIKKI
BANKS showcasing their immense talent... And I love the Character
of Sonny's Attorney DIANE on General Hospital
truly a talent... How about EDIE FALCO as NURSE JACKY... I see another EMMY for EDIE! ..KATHLEEN TURNER will be on "CALIFORNICATION" this season.... JOAN RIVERS was recently roasted by her peers on
Comedy Central.. At the age of 76 JOAN is one
of the best ever... How about KATHY GRIFFIN'S
