recently passed away from heart failure.....Mr. Carlin was busted in
1972 for saying the 7 words not allowed on Television by the FCC...The
charges were eventually overturned in the courts.. FREEDOM OF
SPEECH...Helping open the door for Comics like ROSIE O' DONNELL, ROBIN WILLIAMS,
CHRIS ROCK, ROSEANNE, KATHY GRIFFIN and MARGARET CHO.....I
am happy that the press has interviewed JOAN RIVERS about
his passing ....She is also a trailblazer -- and STILL stirring shit up. I loved
the Dark Comedy that she wrote in the
70's... The name of the Movie was "THE GIRL MOST LIKELY" starring
STOCKARD CHANNING
and ED
ASNER.. It was BRILLIANT! And we can't forget
"RABBIT TEST" with BILLY
CRYSTAL..It was about the first pregnant Man ..
NO ON 98 won by a large margin of almost 62% to 37% ... So Rent Control
is stable in California until the next election........NICK MARDEN was
watching the results with an sharp eye as New York will
probably be
the next State to vote to keep Rent Control in order...He and ARIANA have the
best deal ever for their Loft in the East Village.....BEBE BUELL was a
recent visitor to Hollywood...She came out for the premiere of her
daughter LIV TYLER'S latest
Movie "THE INCREDIBLE
HULK." We got together while she was in town and hooked
up with the wonderful PAULEY
PERRETTE and MICHAEL
BOSMAN...The Movie is a HIT!!! Winning the
number 1 spot for the week of its opening while LIV'S other film "THE STRANGERS" was
also in the Top 10 for the same week ......Making her "HOT "!
Sadly BEBE had
to go home but she did say that LIV
is getting a home in LA -- so she will be visiting
often.....TARGET VIDEO had
their "UNDERGROUND
FORCES" VIDEO SHOW at THE MOCO
GALLERY located in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles... HENRY ROLLINS was
the Dee-Jay who was playing all the Punk Rock hits prior to the
show.....JACKIE SHARP and
JOE REES were
in fine form - -although by the end of the night JACKIE was loosing
her voice...She was so exhausted.....They showed old video's from THE LEWD (People
were so excited to see OLGA
de VOLGA), SIOUXSIE and THE BANSHEES, THE SCREAMERS, THE
CLASH, THE GERMS, THE OFFS, FLIPPER, THE AVENGERS, DIL'S and
so much more...In attendance were LINA LECARO, HANK FORD, MAGGIE from
TWISTED ROOTS,
ANGELIQUE from THE
HANGMEN, DON BOLLES, KK BARRETT from THE SCREAMERS, PONCHO, GABE,
GIGI, BRENDON MULLEN, JIM FREEK, JIMMY WILSEY, BOB MANN, ADAM
WOLFE, CHIP KINMAN and tons more...TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD and
MERI ST. MARY were
missed..... LESLIE
MICHEL busy producing Slide Shows and Videos ....She
placed a great WHITE
TRASH DEBUTANTES video shot at NEW GEORGES with
a special guest appearance by VITO PALUEKOS....MOTORCYCLE BOY are
back in action they recently played a show in downtown LA...My favorite
Aussie Band SLICK
46 will
be over in the States in August...GO SEE THEM....They are so fucking
great not only do they RAWK...but they have the best sense of
humor..They recently sent me photos of DAME EDNA EVERAGE PLACE in
Melbourne..We just LOVE that DAME
EDNA.... SLICK 46's new CD " I DON'T WANNA" kicks MAJOR

BOYD....I was shocked to find out that you both share the

ot. Sad News TRACI MICHAELZ drummer
for the band THE
PEPPERMINT CREEPS was
found dead in a Hotel room in Fort Worth, Texas...Cause of death is
not known..His funeral was at Hollywood Forever on the June 20... TRACI was such a
super nice guy...Too bad his friendly demeanor did not rub off on
others involved with him....I had posted a notice of his passing but
took it down because of an ex-band member..Please check out the
letters section for a more detailed explanation...Congratulations to SPIKE for landing a
major role in a series that was shot in Sherman Oaks for MTV in LATIN
AMERICA.......A HAPPY ANNIVERSARY shout out to KARLA and MIKE you

month...The DAYTIME EMMY'S were held at The Kodak Center and mayhem

the most Emmy's by any Soap Stars. JEANNIE

was so bummed because Soap Net had sent me an email asking me if I

and met some of the folks from The Soap Net Channel....It would have
been so much fun ! I do love my ABC Soaps... Especially now that the

she is a real jet setter.......RHODES INGTERTON and

GRIES was busy filming a Movie and was unable
to attend the Memorial Services for JOHN
PHILLIP LAW.. But I was happy that IKE LUBINECKI from
Reno and GREG who
used to manage MAX'S
FISH in NYC were in LA and went with me...It
was such a wonderful event.... Upon entering the house I saw PAULA whom I had
met a couple years prior at a Birthday Party I threw. She had come with
JOHN as
his guest...Coincidentally- PAULA lives in
Victoria and she was so bummed that she missed seeing The WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES when
the band played in Victoria- the week prior to JOHN'S
memorial.. ... She had not seen any advertisements or posters for the
show..
Oddly enough she lives two blocks from Logan's Pub...I also met
JOHN'S lovely Daughter DAWN
LAW (who looks alot like Cameron Diaz) and her partner SABRINA..We met JOHN'S brother TOM LAW, along with
various other family members and friends...One the most interesting
people there was PRINCE
STASH KLOSSOWSKI, son of French/ Polish Painter BALTHUS... STASH is
good friends with KEITH
RICHARDS and his niece LUCY is married to MARLON RICHARDS....STASH is
also a pal of BEBE BUELL
and
LIV TYLER... STASH who was a charmer invited me to stay
at his Italian Villa when I go to Italy.....IKE and STASH chatted a lot
about art and his friendship with JOHN ....STASH is an Actor,
Producer, Director, along with being the Percussion player for VINCE TAYLOR and THE PLAYBOYS...
Most amazing at the memorial was JOHN
PHILLIP LAW'S Housekeeper DELORES who seemed
just like a member of the family... Her son GERRARD spoke of
the special bond that DELORES
and JOHN
shared.... JOHN and
DELORES
were more like Brother and Sister or Best Friends than Employee/
Employer........The Food and drinks were great and the weather that
afternoon was divine.. We will miss you- JOHN PHILLIP LAW R.I.P........Later that
night IKE, GREG and
I drove around Griffith Park..We were hoping to catch KIRSTIE ALLEY eating
a bucket of wings and legs from KFC ....
We were marveling at how much Griffith
Park reminded us of the location shots from the old TV series "THE BIG
VALLEY" starring BARBARA
STANWYCK..By night's end we were using the catch phrase
"Don't You Know Who I Am?
I'm VICTORIA BARKLEY and I own Half of Stockton California." IKEY was so happy
to chat on the Cell Phone with CARL
MACKI and MERI
ST. MARY.. GREG will also be happy to know that JIM WALLERSTEIN was
happy to get his "Hello".....
MIKE BUTLER'S side band THE BUTLERS are
playing all over San Francisco... Go check em out.... PUNK GLOBE recieved
