Zombie Garden Club

CD Review By: The Gypsy Poet

Zombie Garden Club is a rockin' band from Canada that definitely gives their audience something to dance to. With a rich sound and great melodic direction with a crunchy, old-school garage-band guitar sound, this band brings back the days that are long before computerized, refined sound that has a number of twists and turns in their music. Every band I have heard I make sure they have this pounding sound that shakes things up and Zombie Garden Club does just that. John Douglas is the mastermind behind the music and the band and he does wonders in putting all of this together. The blasting tracks I have heard so far are: Evil Baby, Boom, Fuzzface, Burn, Karma and Calling Andromeda. The tracks mentioned, to my ears have fire and mojo that just never seem to end and they are a thrill to listen to. Zombie Garden Club is masterful in riffs, rock n' roll and lots of fun to listen to.

What is really cool about Zombie Garden Club is the fact that they have had numerous features in the Showtime series, Shameless and with that, a long list of other series on television, such as The Listener, Young and the Restless and Smallville, just to name a few.

This band is the band for you especially if you like that hard-hitting, garage band rock with melodic twists and turns as well as crunchy guitar riffs with tones that match the drums and dance. Great stuff.
