Amanda Palmer's first solo CD, "Who Killed Amanda Palmer," proves that she is one of the greatest musicians of our time.
Who Killed Amanda Palmer" has a delicious combination of both upbeat and radical songs, and slower, calmer songs.
Ms. Palmer's
lyrics, although somewhat controversial at times, look at life from different angles; the song
"Runs In The Family" takes a look at mental illnesses and where they originate, while the song "Guitar Hero" looks
at video games and their impact on teen violence. Ms. Palmer's wonderfully un-perfect voice and the emotion that she puts into her music is simply amazing; you can tell that she genuinely cares about the music that she is creating.
