This gave that select group of insiders unlimited power to seize control of assets and have unprecedented leverage over almost everything within their economies - crony capitalism on steroids. This was a hostile world takeover orchestrated through economic attacks by a very small group of unelected global bankers. They paralyzed the system, then were given the power to recreate it according to their own desires. No free market, no democracy of any kind. All done in secrecy. In the process, they gave themselves all-time record-breaking bonuses and impoverished tens of millions of people - they have put into motion a system that will inevitably collapse again and utterly destroy the very existence of what is left of an economic middle class." "We may never know the whole story behind the recent publication of sensitive U.S. government documents by the Wikileaks organization, but we certainly can draw some important conclusions from the reaction of so many in government and media. At its core, the Wikileaks controversy serves as a diversion from the real issue of what our foreign policy should be. But the mainstream media, along with neoconservatives from both parties, insists on asking the wrong questions. When presented with embarrassing disclosures about U.S. spying and meddling, the policy that requires so much spying and meddling is not questioned. Instead the media focuses on how authorities might prosecute the publishers of such information. Unfortunately no one questions the status quo or suggests a wholesale rethinking of our foreign policy. No one suggests that the White House or the State Department should be embarrassed that the U.S. engages in spying and meddling. The only embarrassment is that it was made public! Why exactly should Americans be prevented from knowing what their government is doing in their name? In a free society we are supposed to know the truth. In a society where truth becomes treason, however, we are in big trouble. The truth is that our foreign spying, meddling and outright military intervention in the post-World War 2 era has made us less secure, not more, and we have lost countless lives and spent trillions of dollars for our trouble. Too often it’s the official government lies that have given us endless and illegal wars resulting in hundreds of thousands of deaths and casualties. Take the recent hostilities in Korea as only one example. More than 50 years after the end of the Korean war American taxpayers continue to spend billions of U.S. military dollars to defend a modern and wealthy South Korea. The continued presence of the U.S. military places American lives between these two factions. The U.S. presence only serves to prolong the conflict, further draining our empty treasury and placing our military at risk. The neoconservative ethos, steeped in the teachings of Leo Strauss, cannot abide an America where individuals simply pursue their happy, peaceful, prosperous lives. It cannot abide an America where society centers around family, religion or civic and social institutions rather than an all-powerful central state. There is always an enemy to slay, whether communist or terrorist. In the neoconservative vision, a constant state of alarm must be fostered among the people to keep them focused on something greater than themselves, namely their great protector – the state. This is why the neoconservative reaction to Wikileaks revelations is so predictable. They say, 'See, we told you, the world is a dangerous place', so goes their claim. 'We must prosecute or even assassinate those responsible for publishing the leaks. Then we must redouble our efforts to police the world by spying and meddling better with no more leaks', so they say. We should view the Wikileaks controversy in the larger context of American foreign policy. Rather than worry about the disclosure of embarrassing secrets we should focus on our delusional foreign policy. We are kidding ourselves when we believe spying, intrigue and outright military intervention can maintain our international status as a superpower while our domestic economy crumbles in an orgy of debt and monetary debasement." KICK DOWN THE STATUES.....

The top one percent already has HALF of the wealth of America, and Obama has given the millionaires, and billionaires more tax cuts. He hates progressives, whistle blowers, and anti-war activists, because he is a rightwing tool. That election campaign marketing was so effective, that many of our friends developed this irrational attachment to their imaginary friend, Obama, who, immediately surrounded himself with Neo-Cons, Intelligence Operatives, Wall Street Shysters, Mercenaries, and Bomb-Makers. The Obama Cult Of Personality solemnly swears that was all part of his brilliant, bipartisan strategy. That he's ending the wars, by expanding them, and creating new justifications to occupy these countries. That always giving in to big business is somehow going to have a trickle down effect that benefits the common folks, one day. That he invades your privacy to keep you safe. In the days before Bush and Obama repealed the U.S. Constitution, ushering-in this absolutely fascist, Soviet-style, police state, where citizens are presumed guilty, and have no human rights, being subject to random searches, urine tests, body x-rays with dangerous cancer-inducing radiation, taserings-extrajudicial electrocutions, groping, and molestation by government employees, indefinite detention, beatings, etc., our biggest problems were trivial, compared to now. The midwestern dummies, and the flag-waving rightwingers, will still tell you the cops and military protect your "freedoms", even as your last lingering freedom is stolen. There is no Free Press. No Free Speech. No Transparency. No B.P., Halliburton, Blackwater, or Dyncorp, Congressional-oversight or Accountability. No Human Rights and Civil Liberties. No kept campaign promises. The torture prisons are still open. They come in your houses, steal your stuff, read your e-mails, record and monitor your phone calls. TSA thugs grope and humiliate India ambassadors in glass cages. Columbia University warns students the State Department will penalize/otherwise punish them for posting links and remarks about Cablegate and Wiki-Leaks, on social networking sites. The big, diploma-swinging, college educated class only seem capable of parroting television pundit's talking-points, on behalf of Wall Street, and the War-State, anyway. By now, it has gotten disturbingly obvious, that Presidents Obama and Bush work for the exact same people. NOT "we, the people", either...Ever since the Supreme Court usurped the will of the American people APPOINTING George Bush Jr., this country's been rolling down-hill, on an accelerating, steep decline. Establishment-Democrats, who scape-goated Nader for having the audacity to run for office, devotedly ignore the fact that the election was rigged, the fix was in, Gore and Kerry won the popular vote, but the Teflon Dons of the Rightwing, took office. Ever see the footage of that honor roll student, who asked billionaire John Kerry some hard questions, about his relationship with the Bush family, only to get tasered and beaten, for making a member of the oligarchy uncomfortable on a university campus? THAT'S your modern day Democratic Party. A billionaire murmuring excuses for infinite-wars of torture and occupation.

It's late 2010, and Obama is STILL bombing Iraq, even though he claimed all Iraq combat operations were over, "Mission Accomplished"-style. If you have lousy health insurance, or no health insurance, thank Obama and his sold-out Democrat party, along with the disgustingly evil Republicans, Fox News, and all those big pharma and insurance C.E.O.'s and their well-funded P.R. flacks, and lobbyists, who get rich by lying to the people, and denying coverage to your sick family members. Media Matters has unearthed an internal Fox memo in which editor Bill Sammon directs his faux-journalists to use the term "government option" in the health care debate, not "public option," which sounds so, you know, of, by, and for the people and all. Obama is not really a liberal, or a progressive. He is, in fact, unsympathetic to poor folks, the unemployed-whose jobs ,his predecessors sent to China, peace activists, social drug-users, family farmers, and people of color. Chris Hedges warns us that historically, when the economy is this bad, and the plutocracy seizes all the wealth for itself, this is when the long-toiling "rubble" become desperate enough to feed their families, that they accept jobs doing inhumane things, whether it's as snitches, as soldiers, in corrections, working for the energy companies, and worse. Remember what happened to the KBR employee who was gang-raped, when she complained to her superiors, she was locked in a shipping crate, and was demonized by the shadow government's publicity machine. She was then told she had signed away her right to sue KBR for being gang-raped, and kidnapped, when she took the job.

Obama is clearly, complicit with the entire Bush/Cheney agenda. Obama gets away with expanding the wars, and police-state invasions, giving Israel a blank-check for brutality and inhumane military occupations, his growing DHS and TSA domestic, military clampdowns, hidden beneath an umbrella of propaganda-a constant barrage of fawning corporate misinformation, and the steady, near-daily, erosions of our dwindling civil rights, because the tv-immobilized, liberal, middle classes think they're defending him(!!?) from racist, Glen Beck-watching, Limbaugh-listening hillbillies. So he continues governing exactly like Dick Cheney's in the oval office, and The View/Ellen/Oprah/Jon Stewart watchers believe he's a Democrat liberal socialist. It's outrageous. He's got his Viper teams, with drug-dogs, randomly, patting down people at bus-stops, driving around, using their x-ray trucks, schools issuing computers that observe children at home. The FBI plants informants in mosques to incite violence, the Muslims promptly report them to FBI. How about Rightwing AIPAC Lieberman, and Rightwing Rev. Huckabee, calling for random assassinations of truth-speakers?! The 24/7 NSA domestic spying. The Obama TSA sex-fondlings. Vast Rightwing-Hillary's state department directives to spy on foreign diplomats and steal people's DNA, which can be used to frame people for crimes. Clinton, Kerry, all these big establishment, sold-out, Democrats are utterly rightwing war-tools. They work for bankers, bomb-makers, and the creeps-in-authority. Some people still believe those endless, "lone nut" stories. Some even think the culprits behind the three buildings that were demolitioned in NYC were eleven disgruntled cave-dwellers, with box-cutters. It's mostly due to the around-the-clock bullshit pumped into American's heads by the media-monopolies. Instead of reporting the truth, these well-paid cable-personalities ignore major protests, manufacture partisan false-hoods, compare whistle-blowers to Bonnie and Clyde....it's always all designed to protect the elites in the towers. Fox has been an assembly-line of rightwing social programming for twenty years now, glorifying the billionaire 90210 lifestyle hookers, and portraying poor people as shirtless crack-heads on "programming" that has helped to usher in this dark police state-the "Cops" shows, the bounty-hunters, the prison shows, SpikeTV's "Jail" series, "24", etc. That's entertainment? History's full of patsy-assassins, and false flag attacks. Some people think these crazy, belligerent, vicious death threats, and sabre-rattling, in the direction of whistle-blowers, Pvt. Manning and Julian Assange, are even a cyber-false flag attack, (Rahm Emmanuel says never squander a crisis as an opportunity to shore-up civil rights) to justify more government scrutiny, and censorship of the internet---scaring citizens into accepting even more state repression of our rights to privacy, and free speech. Some people, mostly those willingly blind, "one issue voters", remain stubbornly focused on bullshit entertainment, and the pointless ping-pong gaming, of the phony, left versus right paradigm, as pre-scripted by the public-relations puppet-shows on cable tv....because it is too painful to think about the holes in the official stories, the lies and cover-ups, the ecocides, the growing B.P. dead zones in the gulf-literally, buried, by the federal government and big-media, mysterious geo-engineering, admitted torture of children, big pharma prescription pill addictions of the insurance having, dwindling, still working, middle-class, and Lucky Larry's "pulled" Building Number Seven. Wise up and Google it.

Dear President Obama: Increasingly credible press reports say that you are going to join with the Republican minority in the Congress and support the two year extension of the Bush tax cut for the Rich, along with the cuts for the $200,000 individual and $250,000 couples that the Democrats were favoring. It has become a widely-noticed habit of yours to concede or to adopt both the Republican terms of policymaking and Republican policies and programs. Enclosed is a recent column where I wrote an imaginary private letter from former President George W. Bush to you, by way of providing examples of this recurrent practice. You may or may not know what extending the tax cuts for the Rich, worsening the deficit and burdening the next generation with the fiscal obligations, not to mention further restricting your options for public works programs and employment, will do to your electoral base. For many of your 2008 voters, this will indeed be the last straw for any active support they might have considered providing you. It may be that you believe that trading off $120 billion in retained income for the Rich is worth persuading the Republicans to support $18 billion for an extension of unemployment benefits to people out of work. With your Party controlling both the White House and the Congress until January 1, 2011, that is a remarkable definition of political, moral and strategic weakness that will signal even greater capitulations to the Republicans during the next two years. Remember McGregor Burns’ distinction between a transformational leader and a transactional leader.

Millions, worldwide, already understand that the same people responsible for the death of the Kennedys, King, X, Lennon, Hoffman, and various Black Panthers, were, most likely, also involved with Kent State, WACO, the Move Compound, Ruby Ridge, Rainbow Farm, the Rigged-elections, and 9/11. Even mentioning these words attracts attention of government spies in our brave and free democracy. Gore Vidal and Ralph Nader tried to warn us. Noam Chomsky and Aaron Russo, too. Howard Zinn, Derrick Jensen, Jesse Ventura, Bill Hicks, Hunter S. Thompson, George Carlin, and Chris Hedges have all hipped us to the raw deal. The fix was in. Ventura says that 65% of the conspiracies he investigates on his TV show, all lead to Halliburton/KBR. Lameduck Obama works for Kissinger and the military industrial complex. He did nothing for the people, nothing for freedom, nothing for peace. His health-care reform was one big sham, to benefit insurance companies. He'd rather shut-down the internet, than stop torture, or punish those, who lied us into infinite wars of criminal occupation. Every reason they gave for illegally attacking Iraq, was proven false. So was the promise to leave Iraq. The reasons for illegally attacking Afghanistan. The promise to close Gitmo. The promise to renew transparency in government. Read Obama's quote, above, about believing in a free internet. All bullshit-what a fraud. Same with the missing trillions, the bail-outs and big banking heists, tax cuts for the top two percent, wealthiest Americans, and ongoing cover-up in the Gulf. This fake, who promised us real change, has only extended the Bush policies! WAKE UP, Obamabots! He's expanded the wars, the police state, is renewing Bush tax-cuts for the super-rich, and mandating men, women, and children all be fondled, felt-up, and photographed naked, by the Chertoff Group, police-state profiteering, TSA thugs, whenever travelling. Obama even asserts he has the legal right to kill pretty much anyone, anywhere, at any time, for any reason...Bush and Cheneys cronies steal from the poor and give to the rich. Obama's like an Arby's manager. Dutifully abiding by the corporation's orders that always, coincidentally, seem to benefit the spy trade and oil industries. If he has any real authority, he refuses to wield it on behalf of real people. He looks out for the billionaires and trillionaires. The people are so mesmerized by their work-buy-sleep cycle of consumption and slavish obedience, you'll even hear people BOASTING about being apolitical serfs: "It doesn't bother ME. I have nothing to hide." ETC. So many fat, dullish, white people are oblivious to concepts like civil liberties, human rights, and the systemically undermined Constitution, and deindustrialization of our country. They are immune to reason, logic, hard evidence, preferring to make emotional choices based on affinities. They don't care to process challenging data, they like making easy choices. Fake choices, between Coke and Pepsi. McCain and Obama. Jon Stewart and Glen Beck. ETC.

We need to start campaigning, now, to run a primary challenger, or third party candidate, willing to end the wars, investigate and prosecute war criminals, repeal the Patriot Act, stop NSA wiretaps, and TSA gropings. To defend free-speech on the internet. Ralph Nader, Cynthia McKinney, Bernie Sanders, Ron Paul, Glen Ford, Alan Grayson, Dennis Kucinich, or Michael Moore-someone step forward...George Clooney...Susan Sarandon...we need you, now!

The same day that Visa and Mastercard agreed to cease accepting funds on behalf of Wiki-Leaks, (though they continue to happily work with the KKK) ...UPS has announced they will now require PHOTO I.D.'s to send packages. Duel-citizen, Joe Lieberman, bullied Amazon into not carrying any information provided by Wiki-Leaks. Meanwhile, Wal-Mart is installing big Department Of Homeland Security Movie Screens in their stores to further brainwash shoppers-instilling them with still-more boogeyman paranoia: "TERROR! TERROR! TERROR!", and encouraging them to spy on their neighbors, and loved ones. The TSA will be expanding the use of their radiation-machines, to bus stations, campuses, and football games. Crazy U.S. authoritarians, relentlessly, call for the ASSASSINATION of Wiki-leaks founder, Julian Assange. He was arrested and denied bail in Britain, today, for bogus charges in Sweden, brought against him by two women with strong ties to the U.S. secret-police. Youtube is going to let rightwing war-dupes flag videoes that quote promote terrorism. In other words, videos that show evidence of imperialist war crimes, embarrass the powerful, or share the perspective of the occupied and oppressed. Most cable channels aren't even reporting on the prison strike, the student protests in the U.K., or the massive rebellions in Greece and Ireland. It's more Sarah Palin. Trotting out Bill Clinton to make excuses for the Obama/Bush tax-breaks for the super rich. The Clintons are also clearly, in cahoots, with the vast rightwing conspiracy they once, supposedly, railed against. Most Americans can't even be bothered to write their Congress, or protest, or read, or really, take ANY action, whatsoever. Not while Bristol's on "Dancing With The Stars". Feels like Hitler's Germany is becoming the "New Normal", in America, in steady, scary increments, more and more, each and everyday.
