I was sent this CD Today, from The Plimptons, They are a 6 piece DIY band from Glasgow UK. They have been together for 11 years,

I played the CD which I found to be a warm jingly Christmas tune, with a ska pop punk style sound. It makes you wanna jingle and jive away along to the tunes! It puts you in a Christmas spirit of mind! Its a 3 track CD, all Christmassy to play at Christmas!!

They have a "Madness", "The Buzzcocks" influence, which you can hear in their sounds They say " Christmas all over this town is a rollicking Christmas sing along in the classic mould, at once a poignant ode to Christmases past and a drunken celebration of the Christmas about to pass"!!

The single is the prolific outfits first release of their awaiting 4th album "The Cynical and Bloated"!! to be released on March 2012 check that out here,
