The Genuine Imitations are outta White Plains New York and they seem
to take great pleasure from doing their own spin on classic albums...
Here they do a parody of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" I found
this version better than Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" which
is way to long and has gotten much more attention than it deserves.
It was good but certainly nothing like Ramones Alive. The Genuine
Imitations use punk, funk and rap to convey their messages which break
the monotony of Pink Floyd.
I think you will enjoy all the music on this CD. I enjoyed the tracks
"White Guilt", "How You Doin' G.I. Dave?" and Something Bout Love And
Attraction" they all have that special magic....... On the CD they
have a message that says "Don't Sue Us Roger Waters"
Check them out at their My Space site for other work they have done.
