Punk Globe: Tell us about your early years in Natchez Mississippi Terry?

Terry: Well, I was born in Natchez, but we moved about 30 or more times till I was 10...then, my family settled in Laurel Mississippi.

Punk Globe:  Tell the readers about your very first guitar?

Terry: My very first guitar was a Mosrite ventures model...it was a great guitar...

Punk Globe: Do you come from a musical family?

Terry: Yes, I did...My uncle Dan always played... and he gave me his guitar and showed me how to play when I was young...

Punk Globe: So there alot of talented musicians that hail from Natchez?

Terry: When I landed in Laurel, I was amazed that there were so many excellent players. And I was was the worst guitar player in  Laurel....lol...so I had to try extra hard .....

Punk Globe: Tell us about your very first band at the ripe old age of ten years old?

Terry: My very first band was with my cousin Tony...he played bass.. we got a drummer and soon were playing beer joints and small clubs...We were underage so when the police would walk in, the club owners would make us hide in the kitchen...

Punk Globe: At what point did you decide to move to Los Angeles? Did you already know people there?

Terry: I was 19 almost 20...Didn't know anyone ...

Punk Globe: How long after arriving in Los Angeles did you get a band together?

Terry: I immediately joined "The Ernie Todd Review" .....It was a soul band....they got me because they could make more money with a mixed group....they could have sounded better without me...At that time I wasn't much of a soul player but it was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot...

Punk Globe: How did the record deal with Polygram come about? How many releases was the deal for?

Terry: Our manager married a nice girl in the Polygram promotion department...That got us in for a 3 album deal ..we were dropped after the second ...lol...

Punk Globe: You appeared in the 1987 film Dutch Treat  I have read some positive reviews of the film. Tell us about the film and how did you land the role of Rebel Faction?

Terry: A producer we were working with at that time was getting us a lot of movie soundtracks ....so we lucked out and got a few gigs playing the bands ....had so much fun...

Punk Globe: At present, you are active with your band  Terry Quinn and The Weazels. Tell us about your releases and what you have been doing?
