This month's PUNK OF THE MONTH award goes to the one and only BERNIE SANDERS... BERNIE has the honor of being the longest running Independent member of Congress in American history.. He stands up for the low and middle class people in America. He recently spoke relentlessly to the other members of Congress about the problems of passing the Bush Tax Cuts and with the help of NANCY PELOSI Congress refused the bill as written.. But after PRESIDENT OBAMA stressed the fact that the RepuliKKKans were holding the unemployment benefits of millions as leverage. Congress finally passed the bill. However, BERNIE SANDERS let his disappointment be known to all and urged us to not allow this to happen again... ... He supports the hazards of Global Warming, Health Care, Gay Marriage, Elderly, Disabled, Women and equality for all... . BERNIE SANDERS is a true American Hero and it is with great honor that PUNK GLOBE gives him February's PUNK OF THE MONTH AWARD... |

Rather then do a RUNNER UP PUNK OF THE MONTH. This month we are giving the PUNK OF THE MONTH award out twice.. There is nothing Runner Up about our other recipient of this month's PUNK OF THE MONTH award.. He is also another true American Hero - MR. CHEETAH CHROME.... CHEETAH was a founding member of THE DEAD BOYS and is currently playing lead guitar with SLYVAIN SLYVAIN in the band BATUSIS.... Like this month's other recipient- CHEETAH has been very vocal about the state of the nation. He along with another Punk Rock Icon and Punk Globe contributor JAYNE COUNTY have let all who read their posts know just how sick of the right wing conservatism that is happening in America now... Not only does CHEETAH support all the liberal minded people in America. CHEETAH is also a Kick Ass Guitarist who excels with all that he does.... It is with great honor that we award him with this February's other PUNK OF THE MONTH AWARD...
