"SEX, DRUGS, & BILL MONROE"
NINE POUND HAMMER
(Acetate Records)

By Gerry Jenn Wilson

Hammer

Be prepared to swing with the "NINE POUND HAMMER"(where that Kentucky windage blows) on & on & ON in "SEX, DRUGS, & BILL MONROE!!"

"I'm Yer Huckleberry" is the first southern fried rocker to come blasting out of the NINE POUND HAMMER gate...guaranteed to please fans new & old!! Vocalist/Good Ol'Boy, Scott Luallen belts out a true confession from an A.A. meeting in the ditty intitled "Everybody's Drunk But Me !"

My personal fave is the pedal steel guitar fueled anthem "Mama Is Doin' Meth Again" written by guitarist Blaine Cartwright, (who also fronts the mighty Nashville Pussy). Guest vocalist "Little Ms. Tammy Smith" puts the "Cunt" back into "Country" on this delectable track!

"Cookin' The Corn" written by Brian Pulito is a fine knee knockin' number about a great preacherman named "Elliah Craig", who had God's recipe for a "Master Plan"...The lyrics go a lil' something like this: "There ain't nothin' like the smell of skunk from a log, when you're firing up a bag of that Bourbon County fog & start cookin' the corn..So the next time you're holding that Bourbon in your hand, & you're smoking out back with "The boys in the band"... It all started down south of that Mason Dixie line...as a barrel of "Kentucky Corn Fried MoonShine!!!!"

It's NINE POUND HAMMER time ladies & germs!!!...Check out "SEX DRUGS & BILL MONROE"...or be your "Monkey's Uncle!!"....
Thats all Folks!!!!....Gerry-Jenn Wilson *****
