Ginger Coyote Goes One On One With Gigolo's Star...
NICK HAWK
Interview By: Ginger Coyote
I remember watching the very first episode of Gigolo's and loving it.. How great was it to have four hot guys on the screen in stages of undress... After watching the show more

I realized the show was much more than just eye candy.. After the first season I decided that Nick Hawk was my favorite and am happy to say it is now season five and he still rawks...

Recently I was tweeting with Riley Baxter and I tweeted that I would really like to interview Nick Hawk for Punk Globe.. A week passed by and I got an email from Nick Hawk's assistant asking about the tweet and I gave her the run down on Punk Globe. Some time went by and then one morning I got an email from Nick agreeing to do the interview.. So here is my interview with the sexy and very fun Nick Hawk!
Punk Globe:
Thanks so much for the interview Nick... How did you enjoy growing up in Madison, Wisconsin?
NICK HAWK:
It seems like many lives yet it was only 13 years ago. After seeing most of the United States and much of the world I definitely feel blessed and lucky to grow up with the family and friends I had. We didn’t have much money but we didn’t really need it. We got by. But I grew into a person who wasn’t content on just “getting by,” envied people who experienced luxury, traveling and who took simple things for granted, to be honest. I was always intrigued by what’s out side of the box and didn’t want to have to worry about the heating bill. I appreciate everything I do have and I worked my ass off to get it.
Punk Globe:
I was born in Iowa and remember going to the Wisconsin Dells in the summer. I imagine since you are into snowboarding that you have also been there.
NICK HAWK:
Yes, of course. I’ve been planning a trip back. It’s a lot of fun in the summer and I have snowboarded my entire life. I just got back from Colorado where I take my brother snowboarding every year. I’m in talks with a bar and Cruisin’ Chubby’s Gentlemen’s Club in “The Dells” to do an appearance. I actually got my first tattoo there when I was 17. My “Super Nick” tattoo that is now covered but I may bring it back.

Punk Globe:
When you were in high school what kind of music were you into?
NICK HAWK:
I have always listened to all different types of music. I’m a huge fan of Rock and Heavy Metal. I loved to workout to it. I wish there was more being released. But I always gravitated to very challenging, lyrically complex music, mainly rap. I view it more as art or poetry and an prodigious way to express yourself. Hence my nine tracks I have released on iTunes right now. My dream was always to be in a Linkin Park type band. I think with my creativity and the right people we could really do something special. I would mainly do the rap vocals but I play the guitar and drums as well. I think one of my next tracks may involve more non- computer generated instruments and a different feel. It’s awesome working with some really good producers now but it’s really challenging finding that right beat and to create an entire track by yourself that keeps the audience entertained.
Punk Globe:
Were you really in the Air Force while attending to college?
NICK HAWK:
I was attending college while I was in the Air Force. I went to college for a year in Wisconsin and enlisted full-time into the AIr Force. I transferred into a job that allowed me take nine credits a semester. I’m an English major that focused on creative writing. I was stationed in Wichita, Kansas. I was okay with all the work being stuck there. I wanted to knock it all out and finally do my big move to Hollywood.

Punk Globe:
Please tell us about your big move to Hollywood.
NICK HAWK:
I’m 100% glad that I had a stepping stone of diversity, difference in values and I educated my mind with the military and college before I made the big move. I was in a rap group in my youth and almost dropped out of high-school to follow my music dreams. I would hate to think where I would be if I did that before doing some self finding and mind expanding. I studied acting for four years in Hollywood before I was approached by Gigolos.

Punk Globe:
I know that you work with Cowboys For Angels. But can you tell the readers, how you were chosen to be in the cast for Gigolo's?
NICK HAWK:
Gigolos found me through Garren James, of Cowboys For Angels, who was asked to send in his best. I was the last to join the show and someone dropped out and we sent in Jimmy who worked for Garren and I. Jimmy and I spent a lot of time stripping for my company Explicit Strippers before Gigolos.
Punk Globe:
I know that Season 1 had mixed reviews.. Where you surprised when Showtime picked the show up for a second season?
NICK HAWK:
Any “adult” racy TV show that pushes boundaries is going to get “mixed reviews” but I knew how great of a thing we had going and I didn’t think for a second it would be cancelled. I understand there’s politics involved but I didn’t see that happening. I’m very proud of my show and the positive message mixed with some great comedy. I truly think, actually know, we are doing such a great thing for the world.
Punk Globe:
Jimmy Clabots and Steven Gantt have both left the show... Are you in touch with either of them?
NICK HAWK:
Nope.

Punk Globe:
Garren then recruited Vin, Ash and Bradley to join the cast... Season 5 began airing a few weeks after my favorite Shameless premiered in January... How have the numbers been for the show?
NICK HAWK:
I'm a huge fan of Shameless and it definitely hits at home with me by taking place in the midwest and having some money struggles coming up. I hear our show does really well and the “numbers” go up every season. I believe we’re the biggest weekday show on Showtime right now. Which is amazing, mostly because of our awesome, loyal fans and that’s with very little advertising outside of Showtime. We generated a big buzz by word-of-mouth and online which is an astonishing feat in it’s own.
Punk Globe:
Congratulations on the ratings! What was the most memorable moment filming on the show.
NICK HAWK:
My favorite night of filming was last season where I presented the first two awards at the AVN’s and then performed at The Gallery in Planet Hollywood my newest track at the time and my favorite “Leave With Me.” That was when I knew it all paid off. I had my toy line released that I worked so hard on, was getting ahead in life and it was definitely at a high in my career. The AVN’s presentation made the show but not that music performance.

Punk Globe:
What was the most memorable client filming on the show.
NICK HAWK:
Oh the shit I do...No regrets right? If people only knew half the shit that happens outside of the show in my life...I knew how big the infamous teddy bear scene would be and people finally stopped talking about that. The reptile lady, body builder, tattoo cover up date and farm scene stand out as well. This season blows away all the rest.

Punk Globe:
Tell us about the film you shot American Justice?
NICK HAWK:
Movies and music are definitely the two things I have spent the most time in my life studying. I’ve listened and studied almost every rap album ever made, watched many, many films and studied acting full-time for over four years. I feel that I have definitely perfected my acting craft. It’s difficult to pursue living in Las Vegas but if I get asked I do take it seriously. I will be staring in a low budget film filming in Northern California soon and can’t wait! In “American Justice” I play a bank robber who kills the main character’s(Tiny Lister) partner. That was a blast.

John Schneider who played Bo Duke and Oliver Stone’s son, the brilliant, Sean Stone are in it as well. We had car chase scenes where I shot out of the window. Fun stuff! They’re organizing the release and premier right now.

Punk Globe:
You released the film's soundtrack called "Born To Be Bad". Where can we buy it at?
NICK HAWK:
“Born To Be Bad” was a track I did for the movie “American Justice” and it came out so great we shot the music video. That was a really, really fun experience. I love creating music, especially for a specific purpose. You can see definitely see some growth from my last video “Gigolo,” as I smirk. I was going a little more poppy with my music but I went back to my roots for this track and now I don’t know which direction to go. I guess it’s good being versatile. You can find the video at my website www.NickHawkExplicit.com and my music in on iTunes and Amazon.
Punk Globe:
You said that you were interested in working with a band. How about maybe crossing over to do some punk rock sometime? Maybe join my band The White Trash Debutantes for a rousing version of "Dildo's Are A Girls Best Friend"...
NICK HAWK:
I wanted to go really deep with the sadness and truth of that song title, in most cases and say how men need to learn how to treat women but I’ll just say, yes, I’m in!

Punk Globe:
Did you enjoy getting your cock molded for the dildo that is now on sale at your Sex Toy And Adult Novelty Store.. What other goodies do you sell?
NICK HAWK:
Did I enjoy it? The actual experience getting hard, by myself, in front of three cameras, 12 people and having them pour cold molding on my junk? No. Saying that just about every sex store on the planet sells it. Yes. Pretty fucking dope. Unfortunately a little humbling as well but very dope. I have 23 items. That is obviously my favorite but the one I’m most proud of is my sex position book. That’s the one I spent the most time on. I came up with every position and directed it. The Keyless Cuffs and vibrating Hawk Enhancer are fun as well.

Punk Globe:
Tell us about posing for Playgirl? How long was the shoot for?
NICK HAWK:
Well, by this time I’m comfortable being around up to four video cameras nude so one camera wasn’t that bad in the least. We just had one location. It went smooth and only lasted a few hours.
Punk Globe:
What exactly was that plastic cup device that was covering your dick in some of the pictures?
NICK HAWK:
That was my Full Potential Penis Pump. I thought it would be great to do some shots with it to market my line and next thing you know I’m on TMZ and they’re saying I shouldn’t need one. Small back-fire. They wanted to call me out on an interview but I think they realized it was part of my line. And of course that was the #1 picture that came up in Google images for some time.
Punk Globe:
Tell us about your Sexpert page? How can one get your advice on sex?
NICK HAWK:
Just click “Sexpert” on my webpage. This is something I started a few years ago to do my form of “giving back.” It’s something I’m quite passionate about and take quite seriously. All the answers are bold, blunt, humorous and have very well thought-out advice. You may ask me a question there.
Punk Globe:
Any Internet addresses that you would like to share with Punk Globe readers??
NICK HAWK:
www.NickHawkExplicit.com for social media, music, my Sexpert page, my sex toy products/online sex toy store, contact info and more.
Punk Globe:
Describe yourself in three words Nick?
NICK HAWK:
Hardest question yet...Creative...Passionate...Warrior.

Punk Globe:
What is in store for Nick for the rest of 2014???
NICK HAWK:
I just released my track “I’m Outta This World.” My Hustler Magazine, feature spread, article and interview just hit the stands as well. I’m listening to beats for my next track that I’m ready to rock on, filming the movie “Crawlers,” I’m also speaking at “Pick Up Artist” summits, taking bookings to teach men how to approach and treat women. I’m also going to be doing some traveling, getting dive certified and hopefully filming season six of Gigolos.

Punk Globe:
Have you ever had any issues with an over zealous client on or off the show?
NICK HAWK:
When the show first aired I thought there would be much more animosity towards us but there is really very little. Everyone says they have the best fans. They’re full of shit. We have the best fans of anything ever. Some of the new clients who come on the show are super fans and it makes the situation interesting. One this season wore a shirt that said “Hawk-A-Holic.” That was awesome, like her. At this point I have ran into a couple crazy ones but it’s all good. It’s a compliment every time someone says hi or asks for a picture. It makes me fell like we did something right and I do my best to cherish every moment and show my thanks for the support.

Punk Globe:
It seems that with each season of Gigolo's, that you get more ink. How many tats did you have on season one and how many do you have now?
NICK HAWK:
Remember I was acting full-time before the show so I had very few. I always wanted many tattoos and I could finally begin when I decided to do Gigolos. Every tattoo I get is a form of marketing myself and image as well...and I’ll admit I’m slightly addicted. I have 478 of them. I haven’t hit my right arm or leg yet much though. And it’s also “peacocking” for the ladies, which I explain when I teach men about women.

Punk Globe:
Do you have a particular tattoo artist that you use?
NICK HAWK:
My old friend Monster in North Hollywood at the Electric Pen when I lived in Los Angeles. Joey, who just won Ink Master and Derek Rubright at Club Tattoo in Las Vegas and my homie Zoo at Trip Ink.
Punk Globe:
Have you ever watched my pals Rob Ruckus and Dirk Vermin's reality show on A&E called Bad Ink?
NICK HAWK:
Yes, it’s a fun show. I believe I met one of them. I know the feeling when you have a bad tattoo and turn it into something really special or get a really original special tattoo that means a lot to you. It’s a great service!
Punk Globe would like to thank Nick Hawk for a great interview.....
