Mongrel is a hardcore punk/metal four piece band spawning from Boston. Their album "Fear, Lies, & Propaganda," which was re-released last year has received airplay across the USA, with the songs "Bound to Crash," "I Refuse,"  "The World Loves a Tragedy," and "West Memphis Hell." Mongrel have shared the stage with the likes of The Misfits, GWAR, Dizzy Reed (Guns N' Roses), The Exploited, Prong, and Otep. Their live performances  are some what known as highly intense and loaded with rawking good time fun, I have also heard you may need to wear ice hockey gear!!! 

With chanting style vocals and infectious lyrics, dirty screaming guitar riffs and nose bleeding drumbeats, Mongrel grind out their unique brand of music, that is a blend of 70's style punk and 90's style grunge punk, infused with some metal influences. I became addicted to the tracks  "I Refuse,"
"Shut Up," "Get Dead" and "No Gods, No Masters."  
Mongrel's music is hypnotic, chaotic, hardcore punk, detonating aggression and angst, that impels you to play
air guitar, pout, and chant along with! 
"Shut Up, Get Dead, 'cause I fucking hate you!"
