I know that PAULEY PERRETTE, KENNON RAINES, KURT NIGHTINGALE, NANCY, PASTOR KATHY COOPER LEDESMA, RENE LEDESMA, LAURA HOVERMALE, RAQUEL, ANGELA KNAPP, SARAH KNAPP, SEAN LEAHY, BECKY STAMBAUGH and PASTOR DAVE STAMBAUGH will all be involved..... STACEY, JORDON & ANDREW TUTTLE and along with the CAMPAIGN FOR CARE posse recently distributed blankets to the homeless at The Mission in downtown Los Angeles..... NICK WILLIAMS and LISA BARDES are moving permanently to Hawaii to live on the Big Island... I will miss seeing them in Hollywood but we will be in contact... LISA plans on going to JOHN G. REES' Book Signing in late October to meet JOHN and MARA.... KATHY PECK and DAVID DENNY are finishing final productions the score for the "THE WAVE" and will be soon working on a new project... THE HOUSECOAT PROJECT will be having a Record Release Party on October 23 at Lennon Studio's on Dore Alley off Harrison in San Francisco... MERI ST. MARY is busy preparing for the Record Release Party and along with doing her very popular Radio Show on KVMR Radio at 89.5FM on the dial in Nevada City, CA....She plans on having KATHY PECK from H.E.A.R. as her very special guest...... JENINE DESHAZER, TIMM CARNEY and GINGER COYOTE did a Photo Shoot with the band ELEPHANT and the Fabulous JOSIE COTTON recently... We had a great time and JOSIE fixed us a great lunch.... It was great to catch up with JOSIE!!! Not to mention seeing JACKSON and COLEMAN from ELEPHANT layered in Bubbles .... MIKE & YVONNE FRANKO and GINGER COYOTE recently went to the Italian Street Fair behind the El Capitan Theater and the home of the JIMMY KIMMEL SHOW... There were all sorts of tasty food and lotza Italian culture..... Not to mention a few cool Carnival rides.. All kinds of amusement for the crowd.. All we needed was SNOOKY and THE SITUATION... Speaking of which DANCING WITH THE STARS is back on the air and PUNK GLOBE favorite MARGARET CHO is one of the Celebrity Dancers.. I wished that she would have been teamed with DEREK HOUGH as a partner.. He seems to have the right moves to win the Crystal Ball... THE SITUATION is also dancing on the show.. On week one former BAY WATCH Star/Producer and AMERICA'S GOT TALENT Judge "DON'T MESS WITH THE HOFF" aka DAVID HASSELHOFF was voted off the show... And in the second week MICHAEL BOLTON got the boot... Sarah Palin was in the audience to watch her daughter dance and it seemed that she was greeted with lots of Boo's... The following night during the results show ABC quickly showed a replay of the segment in question. It seem that the majority of the Boo's were meant towards the Judges for giving DEREK HOUGH and JENNIFER GREY only 24 points... But I am sure there were Boo's met for Palin.. After all the people who are there to cheer for MARGARET CHO would not cheer for a conservative who supports Proposition Hate and Don't Ask Don't Tell... BIG BROTHER finished the season 13 on CBS with 24 year old Arizona College Student HAYDEN MOSS winning the grand prize.... The Show has been picked up for next summer with the always perky JULIE CHEN.. Maybe CONNIE CHUNG will be in the new cast as a House Guest.. It would be fun if she was forced to wear her work uniform from The Sizzler at all times.... LISA BOOTH tells me that BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG will be acting in GREEN DAY'S hit Play "AMERICAN IDIOT".... LARRY GROSS sent out an email letting people know that Rent Control is again in jeopardy in Los Angeles. I know that MARE MEYER was involved with high rent increases recently and had to move out of the Hollywood/Highland area... IGGY POP recently played an unannounced show at New York City's DON HILL'S on 9-10 to be exact with the who's who of New York City in attendance... One guest who caused quite a scene was my pal RANDY JONES of the VILLAGE PEOPLE who came with his nephew and the lovely SUSAN ANTON... SUSAN tells me that even Entourage Star ADRIAN GRENIER was excited to see and meet RANDY.... Already in the club BEBE BUELL and her wonderful husband JIMMY W... They had found that perfect spot to watch the show... They were also joined by LIV TYLER who would not have missed the show for nothing... Also on hand to support IGGY were BOBBY RAE, PATRICK MCMULLEN, EVAN DANDO, BOB & ELIZABETH GRUEN, NUR KAHN, LIAM MCMULLEN, LYLE DEREK and a club full of other folks.. MS. ANTON decided to video the set on her phone so she was daring and went right into the pit.... At one point IGGY landed right into SUSAN..... Sadly enough MICHAEL MUSTO nor WENDY KAUFMAN made it to the show........ The next night on 9-11 RANDY JONES and Actor KEITH COLLINS celebrated their Birthdays at the 5th Annual KINGS AND COWBOYS Benefit at The Foundation... WENDY KAUFMAN went to a huge tribute for TODD RUNDGREN where she proclaimed herself as an official TODD HEAD..... BLONDIE and THE B-52's were out on the road together touring.. TIMM CARNEY and GINGER COYOTE recently went to see BOYS DON'T CRY and WANG CHUNG at The Key Club.. It was great seeing MICHAEL LICATA in action on the drums with BOY'S DON'T CRY ... TIMM was very impressed by WANG CHUNG ... I met their Producer PETER WOLFE whom I teased him about being PETER WOLF lead singer of THE J GEILS BAND and of course a fun reference to MAGIC DICK.... We then went off The Rainbow to meet MICHAEL LICATA and his friends... We went inside the club where we saw and were snubbed by RON JEREMY. He was so busy hitting up on a Blonde that he had no time to chat. However she did Not seem to that interested in him.. Poor RON ended up going off with his "Tail" between his legs at the end of the night... We also saw CC: BARRY SIMONS at both clubs... That guy sure made the rounds that night.. We were chatting with MOJO EL DIABLO and his brother JESSIE when I thought I spotted SINISTER aka DERRICK TRIBETT from the VH1 Reality Show "DAISEY OF LOVE" out of the corner of my eye tying to flag down a cab... I ran up and asked him if he was the infamous SINISTER.. He told me he was indeed and then he immediately tried pick me up... We did speak a bit about the show and his relationship with DAISEY... He is really cute in person... Tatted Up with a Hoody on... He was in town for a week doing business he said ... We did not get to see MICHAEL LICATA until closing time. The Door Guy had told us that he had left before we got there... So we did not venture into the patio where they were eating... We had a very fun night!! Hey Peeps in the Bay Area! I was on the Red Line a few weeks back and I ran into an old friend from Portland Oregon his name is PHILIP RUIZ .. He is now living in the Valley and working on the hit show SURVIVOR... He really likes his job... My dear friend RACHELLE MENASHE was recently in LA from Portland with her Boyfriend MIKE WILCOX .. They were attending a friends wedding in Malibu... We got together for Lunch and RACHELLE told me that she has a new band IRON LORDS and that they will be playing the final night at THE SATYRICON .. Before the building is torn down... This will be very sad day for the Portland Punk Rock scene when the building goes down ...I myself have so many fond memories from my times there... It was was very much like THE MABUHAY GARDENS in San Francisco where so many of us attended our Rock n Roll High School at... The actual building that dwelled the infamous FAB MAB is still standing... But it will never be the same.... There was only one FAB MAB and we cannot forget THE ON BROADWAY.. Not these horrible Rave/House Dance Clubs that have taken over Broadway in recent years... THE MABUHAY GARDENS in SF, THE SATYRICON in Portland, THE MASQUE and MADAME WONGS in LA and THE OFF RAMP in Seattle were some of the earliest Punk Rock Clubs on the West Coast.... Now they are only in our memories .. Please check out SIOBHAN "SHAMAMA" LOWE'S wonderful poem about THE MABUHAY GARDENS in this month's PUNK GLOBE.. It is so wonderful to be back in communication with SIOBHAN.. We lost contact with each other after reconnecting in the mid 90's for a short bit.... SHAMAMA did a fabulous interview with her Son's Punk Band THRESHER who are from Floyd Virginia.. She was laughing so hard while I was speaking with her while watching the cutest 16 year old Japanese Boy playing THE RAMONES hit "The KKK Took My Baby Away" and CHEAP TRICK'S "Surrender" in front of The Kodak Theater... He had so much personality... He had this huge smile while he played his guitar with his practice amp and microphone... He sang all the songs in perfect English. But when we were chatting he had problems speaking English.. His name was JOEY and he told me that he learned to speak English by listening to his favorite Punk Bands. While we were talking another young 17 year old from North Carolina who was starting up at the Musicians Institute came up and wanted to form a band with JOEY from Japan... I told them both about the always entertaining SWEDISH TRIPLETS who are back living in Hollywood and attending College.... They have a band called SNAKES OF EDEN and were in the cast of "DAISEY OF LOVE".. However they were eliminated on the very first episode.... One of the other guys on the show 12 PACK was really hammered and said he did not know if they were boys or girls... But they looked pretty fucking good to him at the moment.... The Triplets are also in a LADY GAGA video but their biggest claim to fame was having me ask one of them if he was AMY WINEHOUSE.. Instead of getting upset he politely pointed out that he was a Blonde and that AMY WINEHOUSE was a Brunette... See more below...
