Happy July 4th for all of our readers who celebrate it..... In August PUNK GLOBE will celebrate it's 37th Birthday..... Who would have ever thought we would have lasted as long as we have... JOHN who played in THE SPEEDIES and was featured in an interview with DAVID RAT in his monthly column RAT BITES in a recent issue of PUNK GLOBE , is in the hospital in ICU.. I will be up in Toronto Canada playing WORLD PRIDE with such other acts as LYDIA LUNCH, TOM ROBINSON, PANSY DIVISION, PANTY CHRIST, MISTER HYDE and various other acts... I would like to thank BRYEN DUNN for all his help... Without BRYEN punk would not be represented.. We all owe him so much for his hard work year after year.. You Rawk BRYEN .. I would like to thank CLEAVE ANDERSON and SIDS KIDS for all their help and sharing the stage with me for the show... And of course WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTE guitarist PAULI GRAY who really stepped up and recorded music for the show with the help of ERIC BORTZ, LYNNE HERMANN, CHELSEA ROSE and JEFF RISDON ... I would like to give a shout out to EMMA from PANTY CHRIST, RO THE KNIFE, DAVID and Gangstar CHRIS BROWN ...
But most importantly I would really like to thank the fabulous TK from WORLD PRIDE for all of his help and understanding that he provided in helping me personally participate in this years event... He really helped make my trip so much more relaxed and easy... TK you absolutely rule!! Thank you so very much for all of your help... Your kindness is greatly appreciated.. I will have much more for the August PUNK GLOBE on WORLD PRIDE in Toronto... In May before I left for PUNK ROCK BOWLING in Las Vegas I was invited to be a guest on THE ED SHOW ... It was really a fucking fun show.... And I did get to hear LEGS MCNEIL go on his drunk rant... Earlier I had told ERIC TULPPO one of the Hosts of the show that I had met LEGS years ago through JOEY RAMONE .. That I had seen him not long ago reading from his book at STORIES in down town Los Angeles and he was very friendly.. I had heard all these horror stories and had been expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised by his gentile demeanor.. CHRIS DOTHERY , from the band GANG GREEN had raved on the air about how well LEGS had treated him and the band when LEGS had interviewed them for Spin Magazine years prior.. Well when LEGS finally answered the phone to be on THE ED SHOW the crew asked if he knew either one of us.. He claimed he had no idea who we were and then he went into a long winded rant about what the hell did show want from him...Yelling and screaming "Fuck You" as his catch phrase.... At first it was funny but it grew tired fast...Listeners in the chat room were either really amused or totally bored with his know it all, holier than thou act..He was on the air for a good half hour just yelling "Fuck You" and various other insults mixed in with some strange antidotes involving DEE DEE RAMONE and DEBBIE HARRY ...Not making any sense.... ERIC and the crew did try to ask him some legitimate questions until they just realized it was going to be impossible to get a straight answer from him... They were very patient with him until he finally hung up on them... My respect goes out to everyone on the show who tried to give him some respect and tried to conduct an interview.....Be sure to read my interview with ERIC and the crew from THE ED SHOW in this issue of PUNK GLOBE ..

BEBE BUELL will be wowing Nashville again on July 1st at THE BASEMENT ... KEVIN SMITH tells me that the club has the best sound in Nashville.. She and her husband JIMMY W were guests of ELVIS COSTELLO for his show at The Ryman in Nashville recently...
Then she and JIMMY W were off to New York City for the premiere of LIV TYLER'S new series THE LEFTOVERS on HBO.... On June 18th the fabulous Author JACK DEADMEN was a guest on WHATEVER68RADIO with the oh so glamorous LISA PUNKRPRINCESS ... It was a kick ass show.. LISA, BLAKE RUTH aka LORD NOMAD and NIKKI PALOMINO all put together some really great shows for the station...

DAVIS best known as ALICE on the BRADY BUNCH passed away from injuries from a fall she had suffered a few weeks earlier.....The beloved poet, actress, humanitarian MAYA ANGELOU also left us.. Mourners such as PRESIDENT OBAMA, PAULEY PERRETTE, CHRIS ROCK, BILL and HILARY CLINTON, KATHY PECK, DOLLY PARTON, BEBE BUELL, LIV TYLER, OPRAH WINFREY, JANET CHARLTON, LORETTA LYNN, NICK HAWK, KIM and JOE DALLESANDRO all offered their condolences in the Social Media.. Now some good news the fabulous JAYNE COUNTY found out just who the rabid stinking skunk was and finally got rid of it...
