There was much sadness in the month of May. Blue Grass Guitarist passed away in a hospital in North Carolina after falling in his home and being in critical condition after abdominal surgery..We lost the "Queen Of Disco" to cancer... She had kept her illness with lung cancer a secret and many were shocked to hear that she had been suffering from it for a few years...... Her friend from the original was involved in putting together a memorial in New York City celebrating her life and the music she left for us to enjoy... She left behind her husband and three very lovely daughters and ... from who had been fighting a long battle with Cancer also passed away in May.. had been a coma a few months back and most all had expected him to pass away then... Miraculously he awoke from his coma and seemed to be slowly getting better until his recent set back that took his life... guitarist and founding member of left us... He had previously played in .. had signed to Interscope Records in the mid 90's and enjoyed moderate success.. produced "New Sheets" for the band in 1998.. Band Mate said: "He had been doing alot of harm to his body and it finally took it's unfortunate toll." There was a memorial held for him in Silver Lake to remember his life for family and friends.. a prominent fixture in the San Francisco music and literary community also lost her battle with Breast Cancer. She was an author, columnist, publishing consultant, radio and music producer, songwriter and musician.. She had her own Record label called Don't Quit Your Day Job.. She formed a band with authors such as among many others to play at book conventions... She had a terrific sense of humor right up into the end... Her last words before passing away were "Rose Bud" in honor of the late Orson Welles... Former Punk / Club Kid also bid us adieu in May. used to live in New York City with and and that is when I first met him... Boy did he have the stories! He told me about seeing Actor/Director at a Dungeon being led around on a leash... Barking like a dog... Serving his Mistress .. That had to be one of my favorite stories ever.. To this day I keep envisioning with a collar and leash obeying better than !!! loved the late Aunt whom he met when we all attended a party with and Tattoo Artist !! Yes, it was a wild night indeed.... A few years back I got an email from him telling me he was married and living in Pennsylvania.. He seemed to be a completely different person more withdrawn with lots of aches and pains.. Gone were the tales of our favorite slave .... Recently his wife sent out a mass email informing all of his passing... I hope has found peace... I also heard that aka who played guitar with the Texas based band passed away also from lung cancer.. He was first diagnosed in 2010 and little over a year of being diagnosed he fell in the shower breaking both hips.. It was then Doctors discovered that the cancer had spread through out his body... My friend just passed away... I have not yet contacted her husband but my heart goes out to him and her family... She was such a sweet and lovely human being.. I found this touching message written by which better explains passing. "Through all of this sadness and grief that I am experiencing . I am blessed to have fulfilled my Wife's final wish... A few weeks ago after the Doctors told her that she was terminally ill and had only a couple weeks to live, she said to me "I have given myself to Jesus and I am ready to go. Please hold my hand when I go" I was holding her hand as she took her last breath.." This is so sad!! extends much sympathy to fans, friends and of course all the families of all the fore mentioned beloved people who have left us.... Missing In Action seems to be another popular situation to be in for the month of May... 20th Century Fox Movie Executive was last seen in early May driving a black Mercedes and his wife reported him missing soon after... He did not pick up his son and the next day he did not show up for work... He seemed to have a perfect family... There has been an alleged spotting of him near Santa Cruz but it seems to be all hear say.. He has not used his bank card, cell phone or credit cards. Rumors of a troubled marriage have also surfaced... As of publishing time there has been no update on his status.... Actor ( and ) was also reported missing... He is in the middle of a divorce and child custody case his estranged wife reported him missing claiming that he had been frequenting skid row in downtown Los Angeles drinking and doing drugs... Reports came in that he had been seen at various locations of L.A. and then apparently he sent out a mass email which ironically did not include his wife.. Letting everyone know that he was safe and would be entering rehab... His wife claims that she spoke with him on the phone briefly and that she has been calling the rehab to make sure he is still there.. is a very talented actor... His co star who was also a tremendous talent.. When I met him I could not believe he was really he looked like he was in his early 40's... Sadly he lost his battle with addiction a few years back .. Lets hope that will also turn up safe and sound... wishes much luck in July!!! Congratulations to () for coming out as Gay and being in a very happy ten year relationship with his partner... Actress married her Female partner officially in New York City.... did not win "Miss Universe" but she has made history for fighting for and winning the right for Transgender Women to participate in the Miss Universe Contest.... You are the real Winner!!! You have helped break barriers for all who have told they can't do something... Because they don't Fit!!!! Listen to the song on LP... had to cancel her shows in Indonesia because of security threats by Islamic fundamentalist complaining about her tour... did a terrific interview with the way cool and very talented who portrays on the hit series at recently... One very interesting tidbits he told is that when () won her Oscar for playing Nurse Ratched in "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" . When she accepted her Oscar she was the first person to ever use sign language at an awards show... Both of her parents were Deaf and she was involved with a group that lobbied for Closed Captioning to be included on Television and Movies... I wonder if the found of who also loves and aka is aware of these fascinating facts about her. I am sure she will be pleased... She is so very talented and such a sweetheart!! is getting really excited to be hosting Floyd Fest next month... She will be emceeing on 2 stages... In honor of the lovely and oh so talented ... has been busy trying to get better from a bout with that lingering cold/ flu that just never leaves your system... But she has not let that get in her way!! She is really psyched about and also seeing the fabulous in September when she is coming to visit the Bay Area.... played their first show in San Diego with the debut of .... The band also played the title track of their soon to be released .. is now making trendy rock n roll jewelery and doing quite well.. She will be selling her jewelery at The Haight Street Fair.. Then she will come to Hollywood to supply all the trendy shops with her one of a kind work.... made a quick weekend trip to LA to visit recently... She had a get together at with and their daughter attending... was recently visiting New England enjoying the fresh sea food... has a new poetry / art book which I gave a quote for that will be released soon... I am glad to hear that and have been very busy doing shows.. and are busy getting ready for reunion in New York City...

has been pumping the show for the last few months... He is a great team player who knows the importance of getting the word out and not just assuming that everyone knows about the spectacular event!!The went off with only a few complaints.. One that seemed to be the major complaint was that there were to many stages...
