2008... We here at PUNK GLOBE hope you all had a
wonderful Holiday's and that YOU -got all your just deserved
spankings..I hope you enjoyed the SPECIAL HOLIDAY ISSUE of PUNK
GLOBE put together by Design Master Extraordinaire
CHRIS ROCK... We
contacted many people who were involved with PUNK GLOBE to give
their special Holiday Greetings. to you. It was hard to pick
just a few so we included them all..... For this issue we gathered
staff and and other folks TOP 10 of 2007... There was no rules as
to what you could pick anything went...... Hoe you enjoy the
feedback....
 On
the home front for December- our favorite Cowboy RANDY JONES -
the original Cowboy from THE VILLAGE PEOPLE came to
play some dates in Hollywood starting with a wild fun 70's Costume
Contest at THE AVALON... The event was sponsored by
MOVEMBER - a non profit organization from Australia.. RANDY
met up his good friend and Author MARK BEGO who was
in LA from Arizona for RANDY'S
entire stay... The first night was 70's Costume contest at THE
AVALON and it was one of the most fun parties I have been to for
a long long time... Always the perfect host RANDY made sure
I had at least 3 Long Island Ice Tea's in front of me at all
times... I absolutely adored MARK BEGO who has written
books on WHITNEY HOUSTON, JONI MITCHELL and is working on a
book about ELVIS PRESLEY and the MEMPHIS MAFIA...We
had invited JANET CHARLTON, JOSIE COTTON and CHERRY
VANILLA but it was a bit of a last minute invite..So they were
unable to come ..Also on hand that night was
ANDREA LOWELL from VHI 's
SURREAL LIFE... After that
night I needed a few days to recover. On the last night of
RANDY'S stay he hosted a CD Release Party @ Bar / Restaurant
that was lots of fun in West Hollywood.. At the party I met
India's Biggest Disco Star a sweet East Indian Woman who lives
both in India and America..Restaurant Manager
BRIAN BEST had a fun time
chatting with all the folks.....The topper was seeing a Woman who
I had met at the event on Friday named
ROSIE who worked for
DICK CLARK PRODUCTIONS.. A
perfect ending party for RANDY'S
stay............Film Maker
STEVE BALDERSON just back from a trip that took him to
Barcelona, Barbados and many other exotic resorts.... NINA
HAGEN is playing New Years Eve for a
ROCK TO VOTE happening-

ringing in 2008 in Louisville Kentucky.. Wishing he
was in California..REBECCA
WILSON and PAUL CASTEEL
are expecting a bundle from Heaven in Mid January.........THE
LIVING WRECKS got into the studio and cranked out some kick
ass tunes for their upcoming CD.. Poor KEVIN had an
accident on the Freeway taking
RENEE who is JACK the drummer from LIVING WRECK'
girlfriend to the Airport.. The motor went out and he has
spent almost 2 months with no car.. Leaving SHANE WRECK as
the only band member with a running Automobile to get the band
around to shows and the Recording Studio ......They have a few of
the songs posted on there My Space Profile.. Check them
out........ JIM LUCIO told
me that the Art Show he and
JEREMY had at their Art Studio in Baltimore was a huge
success.....My personal favorite songbird/ train wreck-
 AMY WINEHOUSE who said NO
NO NO to Rehab and has also recently said NO NO NO to Kabbalah...Poor

BLAKE is still in the Big
House...... AMY
maintains that perfect Beehive even after a 3 day bender
in Bristol Britain.... One of my new favorite band is THE
DUEL from the UK.. Especially
TARA and
ANDY who RAWK!!
PANCHO reminded me about
THE DUEL when he
submitted his Top 10 for 2007 and they were on it.....
THE DUEL have been busy
doing a short tour in Europe before the Holidays...... I also
really like JANE THE RIPPER
who hail from Japan..An all Woman band that kick ass ....

I am also glad to hear that the FABULOUS WENDY THIRTEEN
and her venue THE COBALT are providing all in Vancouver,
Canada with some great fucking shows...... Look out Victoria
Island and THE DAYGLO ABORTIONS
... PAT CROWE is moving
back in February!! It has been great fun being in contact again
with TERRY ALEO......Last time I saw her was in New York
City a good 15 years ago... I had heard she had moved back to
California but it was not until she was at KVMR and spoke with
MERI ST. MARY that I was able to contact her..TERRY
plays the blues and toured with the late great
JOHN LEE HOOKER....

NEW DEEJAY 2007 AWARD for her radio show at The Annual KVMR Awards

to death in an altercation with a Landlord in November......

tells me that the memorial for
PAUL DAVIS at HOLLYWOOD
FOREVER was beautiful.. There will also be a memorial in
the Bay Area in early 2008....H.E.A.R.
will be having a benefit at
THE GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL
in February... KATHY PECK
helps so much for so many. We must ALL get out and support
her and H.E.A.R....
