Well, I like to try all different types of makeup. I love Benefit cosmetics; a dab of thier "Eyebright" pencil in the inner corners of your eyes (well blended of course) makes you look like you've slept eight hours when you haven't! I really like MAC and Bobby Brown eyeshadows...

WHO WAS YOUR ICON IN THE EARLY DAYS AND WHO IS IT NOW?

When I was a kid, I idolized Twiggy. I LOVED her eyemakeup. For a time, I used to paint on my lower lashes like she did. If you look closely at my New York Rocker Pix cover, you'll see those painted on lashes. I loved the makeup look of the sixtees. Even though the eyeliner was harsh and unblended, I loved the look of a dark eye and a very pale lip. It's hard to say who my icon is now. There are so many beautiful women performers... I think in terms of older pop stars, our friend Ms. Harry( blondie) is the definition of beauty.

I ALWAYS LOVE YOUR EYELINER , TELL US YOUR SECRET , WHAT DO YOU USE ?

Recently I went for a haircut and the woman who was doing my hair said I should lose my black eyeliner and that it was dated! I was tempted to get up and leave. I think when you've reached a certain age, you maintain the right to have a look that defines you. My look has always been black eyeliner. I simply love it! I've tried every brand let me tell you! Here's a little secret though. The brand with the most staying power (and it's also ridiculously inexpensive) is Revlon Colorstay---stays on for hours and hours.

LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY ,TELL US WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO SHOP FOR MAKEUP AND CLOTHES ?

In NYC, we have Sephora everywhere! It is the best place to shop for makeup, but all the major department stores have makeup counters. I love Macy's in Herald Square. The ground level floor is a whole city block...makeup for days. As far as clothing, there are so many little boutiques and shops.
