It was a two minutes before midnight when I arrived. After presenting to him my driver's license to prove that I was indeed 30 years old, I was escorted into a seedy S&M club by a muscular bodyguard donning a black leather bondage mask obscuring his face. As I followed him I passed through what seemed to be an endless corridor of scarlet red curtains with crystal beads. There were many wax candles lighting the different rooms of the structure and incense permeated the air. Eventually, I entered the exclusive and devillishly extravagant "pleasure room," where a variety of clients toss aside their inhibitions and submit themselves to a buffet of beastly indulgences. Shackled to the brick walls were scantily clad men and women either being tickled with peacock feathers or lightly seared with hot pokers. Others "slaves" were crawling around on their hands and knees while wearing electrified dog collars. But my main focus that evening was the Queen of Pain sitting on her jewelled throne; a blond and vampiric dominatix holding a glass of absinthe in one gloved hand and a paddle in the other. She goes by the name of Miss Angelix, and I had an interview with her regarding DEATH TRANCE DELILAH, a shocking and decadent performance act that has fought tooth and claw to emerge from Japan's seedy underworld.

PUNK GLOBE: Please introduce yourselves. Who are Death Trance Delilah?

ANGELIX: Hello there! I am ANGELIX and DEATH TRANCE DELILAH is a pop & disco unit we formed back in 2007. As a producer, I make the songs' lyrics, program the tracks, and choose costumes and wigs for various stage numbers. DEATH TRANCE has 2 singers other than myself. JESUS has a brutal, gutteral voice and MAIYA has sings alot of angelic high notes. And DARK666 does mostly choruses while acting as a funny slave charactar!

PUNK GLOBE: I have to know...where and when did you meet?

ANGELIX: We became old friends in J-metal scene. I and MAIYA were once members an of all-female death metal band called "BUZZCULT" and JESUS is the frontman of the thrash band "GIGATON."After BUZZCULT broke up, I wanted to try to do something a little bit different, and at that time I was interested in dance music. So I asked JESUS and MAIYA to help provide their own vocal talents to the group.

PUNK GLOBE: Tell us what bands influenced your sound?

ANGELIX: 80's hits!!! I love them very much.

PUNK GLOBE: What makes Death Trance Delilah's show different from Buzzcult's?

ANGELIX: In BUZZCULT, I had to present cool but very dark imagery. But nowadays I can do anything I want to because I'm the boss of DEATH TRANCE, thanks of course to the members' undying support!

PUNK GLOBE: How were you introduced to the world of sadomasochism?

ANGELIX: I love watching the ILSA naziploitation dvds!!!

PUNK GLOBE: Do each of you have a fetish?

ANGELIX: We love the PVC fashion movement and often go fetish parties in Tokyo.

PUNK GLOBE: You already have quite a few myspace friends. How do think American crowds will react to you?

ANGELIX: Our songs are quite heavy but also bear catchy pop hooks. Anyone gay or straight can dance and sing to them very easily. Maybe some very strict poeple will get angry about our controversial, T-back fashion!!!

PUNK GLOBE: Now, how can U.S. fans access your songs?

ANGELIX: I want you to see our show in youtube or MySpace. So far we have released 2 kinds of demo CDRs and each one only has a couple of tracks. We haven't planned to make any official albums yet, but honestly they are not important for us right now.

PUNK GLOBE: Last question. Is there anything you want to say to Punk Globe readers?
