Bebe Bardot passed away peacefully at his home in Coos Bay, Oregon the evening of April 16th, one week following his April 9th 2010 farewell concert held at Lord Bennett's. Thanks to the support of Rich Iverson & and company..... the outing was a success...because fans were so enthusiastic, and the standing-room-only conditions functioned as a great tribute to our friend, "Torturer of Tourists". Having the privilege of spending his final full weekend with the Sultan was a real treat. A special thank you to all the staff's at the Sunset Lodge and Lord Bennett's Restaurant, all of you treated our friend like a King,; one final time, and for that , I will always be grateful.

Although scheduled to perform, I decided to leave the trumpets at home and act as Bebe's personal manager....smoking his cigars, drinking his wine, poking fun at him and yes, being helpful/useful as well.

Bebe really appreciated how everyone made him feel special... A special thanks to Doug...who provided the Promotional "Wood Pecker" Slicks that were distributed at the tribute.

One last thought, please stay in touch so you can make the early summer "memorial" for or dear friend. Location and exact timing is pending at the moment.
